Auction Bn'B which means BID n' BUY, auctionbnb is an online platform where users can buy and sell products through auctions. Sellers list items, and buyers place bids to win.
How does AuctionBnB work?
Sellers create listings with descriptions, images, and starting bids. Buyers browse and bid. At the end, the highest bidder wins. AuctionBnB is a marketplace intermediary: we connect buyers and sellers — AuctionBnB does not ship items or directly handle payments unless you choose an optional Escrow Protection service.
Is AuctionBnB free to use?
Browsing is free. Sellers may incur listing fees on sold items. Buyers pay a bidding fee for products they bid on to guarantee real bids for sellers. Platform fees (if any) are displayed upfront when listing or before confirming a bid.
How do I place a bid?
Click “Place Bid” on a product page and enter your bid. You can increase your bid anytime before the auction ends.
How will I know if I’ve won?
Winners are notified via the platform and AuctionBnB account immediately after the auction ends. You will also receive a "You won" email with next steps and the seller's contact details.
How do I pay for a won item?
Payment is arranged directly between buyer and seller after the auction ends. AuctionBnB does not process the payment unless you and the seller opt into our optional Escrow Protection service. We recommend agreeing a payment method and shipping terms within 7 calendar days of auction close.
Can I retract or cancel a bid?
No, once placed, a bid cannot be retracted. Bid carefully.
What should I expect immediately after winning?
- The seller should acknowledge your winning message within 48 hours.
- Agree payment method and shipping terms within 7 calendar days unless listing specifies otherwise.
- Expect the seller to provide tracking within 7 business days (domestic) or 14 business days (international) after payment is received, unless otherwise agreed.
How do I list a product for auction?
Create an account, click "Add Product", upload photos, descriptions, set starting bid and auction duration.
Are there fees for selling?
Yes. Sellers may pay listing fees. Fees are displayed before confirming the listing. The buyer may also pay a bidding fee as described on the listing.
How do I get paid after a sale?
Payment is not processed by AuctionBnB by default. Contact the buyer to arrange payment method and shipping. If you and the buyer both opt-in, AuctionBnB can provide an Escrow Protection service for an additional fee where AuctionBnB (or a partner) holds funds until the buyer confirms receipt.
Can I cancel an auction once it’s live?
Auctions cannot be canceled once live unless under exceptional circumstances. Contact support if needed.
Seller response & shipment expectations
- Sellers should acknowledge winner messages within 48 hours.
- Provide tracking within 7 business days (domestic) / 14 business days (international) after receiving payment unless otherwise agreed.
- Repeated failure to respond or ship on time may affect seller standing per our Terms of Service.
How do I create an account?
Click “Sign Up” and enter your details. Verification through paying a bidding fee helps ensure serious bidders and reduces fraudulent activity.
Is AuctionBnB safe?
We use SSL encryption, secure processes, and seller verification to protect users. Note: because AuctionBnB is an intermediary, buyers and sellers must agree payment and shipping terms directly unless they choose optional platform services (Escrow/Shipping Facilitation).

Click “Forgot Password” on the login page and follow the instructions to reset it.
Who handles shipping?
Sellers handle shipping. Buyers should confirm shipping details and costs with the seller before or immediately after auction close.
What if an item doesn’t arrive or is damaged?
Contact the seller first. If unresolved, submit a dispute via AuctionBnB and our support team will assist with mediation. If you used Escrow Protection, the escrow process may help resolve or refund per the Escrow terms. Buyers should open disputes within 14 days of delivery.

What role does AuctionBnB play after the auction ends?
AuctionBnB connects the winning buyer and seller and provides communication tools, mediation assistance, and optional value-added services (Escrow Protection and Shipping Facilitation). By default, AuctionBnB does not hold funds, ship items, or directly process payment between parties.
How does dispute resolution work if buyer & seller can’t agree?
1. Buyer and seller should attempt to resolve the issue directly.
2. If unresolved, either party can click the “Report” button and submit the conversation thread, photos, tracking info, and proof of payment/dispatch.
3. AuctionBnB will review and attempt to mediate. We can assist by reviewing messages and evidence and suggesting resolutions. Note: AuctionBnB cannot force refunds unless Escrow Protection was used and the Escrow terms allow it.
Optional services (reduce risk)
- Escrow Protection: For a fee, funds are held by AuctionBnB (or a payment partner) until the buyer confirms receipt. This reduces risk for buyers and increases seller trust.
- Shipping Facilitation: Option to purchase a carrier label via the platform so the seller can print and dispatch a pre-paid label. AuctionBnB remains an intermediary for logistics — the carrier fulfills delivery.
Automated winner notification (what it contains)
When an auction ends and a winner is declared, both parties receive a message that includes: auction id, item title, final price, seller contact method, suggested next steps, and suggested timelines (acknowledge within 48 hours, payment within 7 days, tracking within 7 business days domestic / 14 business days international).
